What happened?

Jeff and Ben continued to talk to one another while (y/n) looked for an escape. Whoever these two are, they’re not going to get her to join anything. She then remembered an open window upstairs in one of the bedrooms.  She noticed the blushes ever so present on both the male’s faces. She smirked inside her mind as a plan started to form.

“Well while you two morons are making out, I think I’ll go upstairs to get dressed.” (y/n) voiced nonchalantly. Without even looking towards her, both men waved her away. “Dipshits.” (y/n) mumbled under her breath. She made her way up the stairs in to the bedroom with the open window. Deciding that it would be indecent for the young neko to walk around naked, she made her way towards the closet, peering inside. The only thing she could find was the skankiest outfits ever. Though disgusted by them, she picked out a pair of tight black shorts and a tiny black tank top. She picked the outfit based off of what she usually wears. She’ll find a more comfortable outfit at the next house she hits.

(y/n) jumped out the window, making a perfect landing on her feet. She could see the two boys still talking, oblivious to the girl’s action. Without hesitation, (y/n) took off in a sprint away from the cabin. The exhaustion that she felt was replaced with a rush of adrenaline. Paranoia took over as she continued her on, and finally she realized how stupid it was to only travel on the forest floor. Many creatures and people could be waiting around every corner. With that thought in mind, (y/n) climbed the nearest tree and began making her way up. Once on the treetop, she was able to see everything beyond the forest. A couple of miles away, she spotted a small town.  The sun shined bright showing that is was noon. (y/n) took up running again, using her strong legs to jump from tree to tree. Amazingly enough, she spotted no immediate danger.

Jeff continued talking the Ben, a little annoyed that the male had to barge in while he was just about to drag her with him. That neko was starting to strike a nerve. Not only did she show no fear, but her tone of voice was both monotone and heavily laced with sarcasm. What the hell was this girl’s problem? Most people would be thankful towards the one who saved them, not throw a pissy fit at that person. Though he didn’t want to admit it, he thought that was a pretty smart idea. Of course it’s not like he would say it out loud.

“Hey Jeff, that chick’s been up there for quite a while.” Ben pointed out, “I wonder what she’s doing?”

“Me too,” Jeff agreed, “she better not be trying to escape, though if she was I doubt she will with make it that far.”

(y/n) was almost halfway there. This was one of the times she was thankful for being half feline. She wondered how long it would take those two to notice her absents. She knew to be extra careful when she got to town. (y/n) couldn’t stay in one place for too long, and she also had to make the victims deaths quick and silent. She also had to dispose of all the technology in the house so the little girly boy wouldn’t gain easy access. (y/n) also need to be on guard knowing that there were many things out there waiting to get her. The neko sighed in frustration.

“Survival sucks, but at least it’s better than being stuck in a cage” (y/n) said to herself. She let a smile grace her face for the first time since she was five. It felt strange to show any emotion besides annoyance and hatred. The last emotion (y/n) remembers feeling besides the two was fear. But that was when she was young and ignorant of new like. (y/n) thought back to her childhood, the one she lived before being thrown into a cage. That was a time when she had two loving parents and plenty of friends. (y/n) was born a neko, but told no one about it. Only her mother and father knew about it, her mother thinking it was the most adorable thing ever while her father had the sudden urge to protect her from anything that may want to do harm towards her. Of course there was one other person who she told, her best friend. She remembers the promise he made to her.

“Don’t worry (y/n); I will always protect you no matter what.”

Tears pricked the girl’s eyelids at the memory of him.

“You lied.”
Well, sorry for the long wait, had a lot to do and I kind of felt lazy. But you asked for it, I delivered, here is chapter 7. I hope that this one feeds your hunger of knowing what happens next.
